Olla de la Luz — Cerro de la Luz

It's a large sinkhole (doline) roughly 800 metres across with a vertical drop of more than 120 metres, set high in the Xilitla cloud forest and crowned by the Cerro de la Luz.

Only with a local guide from La Trinidad: the visit must be guided, you can't get there on your own. Access is on foot, about 5 km from La Trinidad, climbing towards the Cerro de la Luz. La Trinidad is about 14 km from Xilitla.

The route runs between 1,950 and 2,300 metres above sea level, so the weather is cool and damp; bring a jacket and hiking shoes.
