How to get there

  • · cash in small denominations (no ATM or card terminal)
  • · your own food (options only on weekends)
  • · biodegradable sunscreen
  • · natural repellent

Did you know?

  • · In 1950 the spring dried up completely. On May 10, 1951, after a huge storm, it burst forth so powerfully it filled the pools in a single night — locals remember it as 'the miracle of Tambaque.'
  • · Tambaque means 'place of shallow water' in the Tének language, a reference to the shallowness of its pools.

What travelers say

4.6(15)
